I feel as if part of me has been stapled to this world, stapled by Sin. The Holy Spirit inside me continually tries to counter this and set this part of me free, blowing me away from the evils of this world. And I know Christ has taken upon himself my burden of sin; I realize and accept that. But part of me still is grounded by that continual never-ending bombardment of temptations. So I remain here, stapled, waiting for that day when God will take away that staple and fully set me free.
