Day 16: Burning Bushes

I know I don't normally post more than one photo, BUT TODAY'S THE EXCEPTION!

Usually, I'm drawn to make my "artistic" photos devoid of color. I feel that this causes the viewer to take a closer look at the light, shadow, form, texture, and other things like that. But today, I felt inclined to focus on color, for I walked out of my dorm and these bushes burning with an intense red color caught my eye. I love how God chooses one time of the year to change the pigment of the leaves; were it not for this, we would not appreciate it as much as we do. It's something to look forward to in the early fall (or "winter" for us Texas folk).
Color. It's such a beautiful thing.
...but especially the color red.
